Our sustainability pledge

It’s believed that, worldwide, at least 80,000 acres of forests are destroyed every day*. The removal of trees without sufficient reforestation has contributed to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, worsening levels of air pollution, and devastating damage to habitats and biodiversity.

At Bowmore Asset Management, we are dedicated to seeking out and supporting ways to reduce our carbon footprint and preserve our planet’s ecosystem. In partnering with Tree Nation, we can do our part to ensure the planet we enjoy today is here for future generations.

Our pledge to you: For each new client choosing to invest sustainably with us, we have committed via Ecologi.com to plant two trees in the UK.

Our pledge to our employees: We will finance the planting of 5 trees per employee per month via Ecologi.com

Collectively within the Bowmore Team, we are planting 30 trees per month and offsetting approximately 27 tonnes of carbon per year!

Personal wellbeing

We believe that our employees are our greatest asset and it is important to us that they are given a comfortable working environment to succeed in.

Our London office is one of two wellbeing certified buildings with the UK. Many details; down to the cleaning products used (harmful chemical free) and lightbulbs (promote vitamin D) create an environment contusive to promote their wellbeing.

We also offer a ‘give’ and ‘take’ day per calendar year, encouraging employees to volunteer for a charity they are passionate about and take some time for themselves around their birthday.

Financial wellbeing

As we operate within the financial sector, we are well placed to give financial education to our team.  Senior management operate an open door policy and are happy to guide team members through their financial affairs where possible.

We offer our employees a discounted management charge and encourage long-term retirement planning through our generous pension scheme.
